Although Architectural Design Inc is situated and practices in East London, the practice was started in Paarl, Western Cape, in 1989, under the name Adams & Associates. It started out as a “one man show” designing homes and doing alterations for the private sector.
The business then moved into a more specialized and
competitive market of residential development design.
Starting off with low to middle income housing
developments, it built relationships with developers and
real estate companies. In 1992, we moved to East London,
where the name was changed to Architectural Design Inc.
We have grown since then and have built relationships with
businesses and developers in East London and across the Eastern Cape and
Border. We have not only had a good success rate in the
private residential sector, but also have a long list of
housing developments under our belt. These range from low
or middle to up market developments. Our architectural design services in the East London and Eastern Cape areas
also include interior design for office and residential
applications through to construction management &
supervision. Dispatch Media, Buffalo Toyota and Amatola
Water are but a few of the corporates we have as
clients.
The company employs two full time draughts persons and one
student.
We rotate architectural students regularly and are totally
committed to the development of skills. Our students and
staff are mainly from previously disadvantage
backgrounds.
We are extremely confident in further growth of the
practice and also the SA economy.
We are registered and are corporate members with all the
regulatory councils in our industry and the Border Kei
Chamber of Business.
